POLLY
Polly came to us from Siv Jendresen at Nordictouch. From the beginning she was a very special girl. Six months older that our CC, she graciously accepted the younger and more exuberant CC as her "brace partner". Frequently as we were going around the ring, Polly would perform like a perfect lady, while CC could barely contain herself. One time, as we stopped in front of the judge, CC actually jumped across Polly so they ended up in an "X" configuration. Polly just sighed and looked at the judge as if to say, "see, this is what I have to put up with!" The crowd laughed and the judge gave us a blue ribbon. Their very first time in the ring as a brace at the 2004 AKC National Specialty the girls were great. They went around the ring, everything in unison, including their tails, they were wagging in the same direction, back and forth. We won! Polly finished her title in Couer D'Alene, ID, July 2006. It was 102 degrees and everyone was literally melting. Everyone except Polly! We kept her in a crate, with cool, wet sheet over it, until last possible moment. She walked into the ring, fresh as a daisy, tail wagging and very happy. It wasn't until she was on the table as New Champion for her picture with the judge that she started to look like the heat was beginning to bother her. (I, of course, look like I was really overheated).

Polly Pix
Polly (on the left) and her sister we called "Sister" (on the right), who was eventually renamed "Sasha" and lives with Linda Compton at Artistree.
The three "Amigas", Maggie, Polly and Tuffy.
This is an example of a show picture that we receive a few weeks after the picture is "clicked". It is a REALLY BAD picture of my beautiful Polly, cut the only picture I have of the event. Today, with show photographers using digital cameras, show pictures have improved alot.
